The government will decide to allow fans to enter the stadium and there will be a separate protocol for it.
"We have not yet received an official letter from the BCCI regarding the IPL, but we are ready for planning," said Mubashir Usmani, general secretary of the Emirates Cricket Board. The final league in the UAE was the Abu Dhabi T10 League in November last year. No league or international cricket has been played in the UAE since then. The 13th season of the IPL was scheduled to take place from March 29 to May 24, but was later postponed indefinitely.
