The government has made it mandatory to wear a mask when the Corona crisis is on the rise. A fine of Rs 500 will be levied from today for those who do not wear masks in public. This rule will be applicable in the whole of Gujarat from 1st August i.e. from today. From today, masks will be distributed at Rs 2 from Amul parlors across the state so that even the common man can buy them.
Informing about this, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to impose a fine of Rs 500 on people who do not wear masks in public as well as persons who spit in public from August 1. Earlier, the fine was Rs 200. In addition, plain masks will be sold at a nominal price of Rs 2 from Amul's parlor so that the people of the state can easily get the masks. It is to be noted that even before this, people could get N95 and surgical masks from Amul Parlor at low prices.
