The state has two more days of rain system due to which rains are forecast in Saurashtra and South Gujarat.


Gandhinagar: In the last 24 hours, 140 talukas have received rains in the state (Gujarat). The highest rainfall of more than 4 inches has been recorded in Mansa taluka of Gandhinagar. After which Savarkundla in Amreli received 3.92 inches of rain. Songadh in Tapi received 3.72 inches and Kadi 3.70 inches. The state has two more days of rain system (Gujarat Rain Forecast) due to which rains are forecast in Saurashtra and South Gujarat.

 In the last 24 hours, Chotila in Surendranagar received 81 mm, Tapi Nizar 72 mm, Kheda's Kapadvanj 66 mm, Dhavanagar 59 mm and Mehsana 58 mm.

Importantly, the meteorological department has forecast two days of rain in the state. According to the meteorological department, light to heavy rains are likely in Saurashtra and South Gujarat in the next two days. Southwest winds are blowing in the state. The research has forecast rain for the next three days.

According to the forecast, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Junagadh in Saurashtra and Valsad in South Gujarat are likely to receive heavy rains. According to the meteorological department, rains are likely in different parts of the state between July 25 and 26. Gujarat may get rains as favorable conditions arise in the Arabian Sea. Currently, some parts of the state are witnessing declining rainfall. The meteorological department has now forecast thunderstorms in different parts of the state.

Notably, Saurashtra has received more than 50 per cent of the season's rainfall this year than South Gujarat in the monsoon. While North Gujarat and Central Gujarat have received 35% rainfall.
